Hello, Carlsbad! I am so honored to welcome you into this space. I am Dr. Max, a Life Chiropractic College West graduate and a California licensed chiropractor. Above all, I am a lover and student of life, walking a path dedicated to helping people liberate their health, their minds, and their true human potential.
My journey into chiropractic care was born out of a deep reverence for the natural world, leading me first to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. I’ve always known that nature holds a perfect, unforced design—and your body is no different. My practice is rooted in the vitalistic truth that you possess an Innate Intelligence inside of you that is designed to heal, adapt, and thrive, coordinated entirely through your nervous system.
Beyond the office, my heart beats for music, animals, surfing and traveling the world. I am a passionate musician, and I truly view the spine as the master ‘musical instrument’ of your life force. My passion for seeing the world has taken me across borders to serve communities worldwide. I’ve had the immense privilege of providing chiropractic care and service in India, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Guatemala, witnessing firsthand the universal power of a nervous system set free.

I often look at the human body through the lens of my other great passion: music. Your nervous system is the master instrument of your life.
When your nervous system is in harmony, your body vibrates at the frequency of health, adaptation, and life. When physical trauma, toxic environments, or emotional stress cause spinal subluxations (misalignments), it creates static, distortion, disruption, or interference in your body's natural healing frequency. It throws your whole being out of tune. Instead of just masking that noise with temporary fixes, my goal is to gently tune your spine and nervous system. By removing that interference, your body’s natural life force can flow freely, playing the beautiful song it was always meant to play.

A part of my practice merges gentle, specific vitalistic chiropractic adjustments with the profound power of vibrational sound healing.
This is a total exploration, a merging of two passions of mine: music, and chiropractic. It has been a part of my vision for years and I am so excited to deepen in this work.
By incorporating sacred sound tools like gongs and singing bowls into the healing environment, we work on both a physical and an energetic level. The deep, resonant frequencies of the gong bypass the analytical mind, instantly down-regulating your nervous system from a stressed state ("fight or flight") into a deeply relaxed state of cellular healing. When we combine this vibrational sound therapy with the chiropractic adjustment, your body drops into a state of profound harmony, allowing your life force to flow completely unhindered.
Meet Bodhi: Our Chief Healing Officer 🐾
No visit to the office is complete without a greeting from Bodhi! Bodhi is our super well-behaved, loving, and deeply empathetic Chiweenie (Chihuahua + Dachshund mix) who is a permanent fixture here at the practice.
True to his name, Bodhi brings a sense of pure peace and joy to everyone he meets. He has an incredible radar for human emotion; if you are having a stressful day, he is right there to offer a calming presence and unconditional love. Patients of all ages—from our tiniest newborns to our seniors—absolutely adore him. He is a master at keeping the office vibe light, harmonious, and full of good energy.
